We are a local post focused on fellowship, support, and keeping the VFW promise alive in Kennett and Southeast Missouri.
Originally chartered as post 3182 in 1944 and then 5443 in 1955, The Kennett VFW Post has served Kennett's veterans and families since World War II.
Neighbors from every branch keeping VFW traditions alive locally.
Voice of Democracy, Patriot's Pen, and local awards funded together.

Everything we do fits into a few focused efforts. We keep them small so we can act quickly when a veteran or family calls.
Emergency relief, benefit guidance, and regular check-ins for members and their families.
Flags, ceremonies, and community outreach that remember sacrifice and celebrate patriotism.
Scholarships and civic education that pass the VFW story down to the next generation.
Gatherings & Outreach
Guests are always welcome—bring a fellow veteran, a family member, or someone curious about the VFW mission.

Membership
Join at the pace that works for you. Some members attend every meeting, others help with one or two projects a year—we're grateful either way.
Bring proof of overseas service and honorable discharge or active-duty status.
